Polka Dots, Velvet and Christmas!!

Our new Threads have gone down great in Topshop over the past couple of weeks! We have a two NEW skater dresses, a peach fabric with velvety black polka dots! The other is a dipped forest green speckled fabric, with an embellished waist band. They are absolutely B. E. A. Utifullll!! They will be in store on Thursday! So we will be having a big re-merchandise to make it look lovely for you all!

The pink velvet 'Minnie' skirts have nearly sold out! Not to worry though, we shall be getting more of those cut out and made up as soon as possible! No harm done if you can't wait though ;) We may also be doing them in different colours... Watch this space!

As for everybody starting their Christmas shopping, we're thinking about new t-shirt designs, things that make Christmas a unique time for Hull, Yorkshire or Britain! If anyone has any great ideas feel free to Tweet us @bowesthreads they will be much appreciated! 

As you can see Gosling will be at the top of our lists... orr Toy Story pyjamas!

Monday Mornings!!

Us Bowes girls don't have the best track record with Mondays, but hopefully this week will be better! We have lots to be planning for the next few weeks!

The studio is on its way to being finished, should be just a couple of more weeks now! Can't wait to have our big work space and chalk board wall! Will be ace! Thinking we need a little picture board too, not sure where it'd go, I'm sure we'll find room! 

Our new children's tees are nearly ready! Whoo! We just need to get them all printed! More baby grows are also on their way! These will all be ready for Hull Freedom Festival!

On the Tellyyy!!

We got our Trademark Certificate today!! Whoo!!

But in other news... ;)

Myself and Katie where on the telly!! We were on our local news channel Look North for East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.

                                   

We were interviewed and recorded at Bowes Threads HQ, for a piece on the 'Pattie' as it is 125 years old today! If you're from Hull you will know what I am on about ;)

Journalist and Presenter Leanne Brown asked us about our 'Hull Loves' range, why we have made a Pattie Butty tee and our Made In Hull tee! The answer of course is, we are proud to be from Hull and love that we have these unique traits!

TODAY IS MEANT TO BE THE HOTTEST DAY YET!!

I wasn't aware it was possible to go over 32 degrees in Birtain!! ; ) If so, I'm wearing a bikini to work because it is going to be one hell of a sweat shop in there!

We're quite excited, even though me and Katie still cannot decide what to wear! Everything is organised into their own piles and they're only going to get bigger! So I best go get dressed and get myself off to the bus stop!

Party Timee!!

Just a little Hello before this weekends antics! 

I am currently sat with my rollers in, drinking a brew like a true BT girl, before I get ready to work at the bar tonight! Dressing up Grease style tonight I think!

Us BT ladies are really looking forward to letting our hair down in the next couple of weeks! Girls night out tomorrow for Sarah, Katie and the girls! Jealouusss that I can't go!! But it is my 21st in soon! So party time for everyone then!!

Things are really starting to move along swiftly with the clothing! We are making lots and lots of lovely dresses, shorts, tops for you all! There are some lovely pieces for summer and holidays in there!! 

All in all we are very excited for the official photo shoot and launch of the new collection!

This dress is just a simple elasticated waist jersey dress. But it is extra special as we have added some intricate detailing by sewing some lovely beads and jewels on by hand.
