Nostalgia.

If you're from Hull, you'll remember being asked, "You wanna lark out?" or "Are you larkin out after school?" when you were a child. These phrases simply mean are you coming out to play. You'll also remember the calls of 'Ally Ally In!' when playing a game down the tenfoot! The game was Block, also a school ground favourite with Riallio, Tig, Bulldog and Kiss Cat! You'd play it again and again after school with your mates, down your adjoining Tenfoots!
If you know what I'm talking about when reading this, you'll know what I mean when I say "Give us a Croggy!". The amount of times the friend who'd left their bike would ask this(we all had one!) and you'd let them sit on your seat whilst you peddled as fast as you could!

SO! To celebrate those warm feelings you have in your belly as you read this, we have created these...

CROGGY Sweatshirt £30
LARK Baseball Top - £20

BLOCK Baseball Top - £20

Hull IS The City Of Culture 2017

We are so proud to be from Hull! It is absolutely amazing that we have been named the 'City Of Culture' 2017!

This is a tremendous achievement for the city and all of those involved! We are really looking forward to what the next few years hold for the city and hope that we can be more involved! It has been a long time coming and the fact something so positive has happened for us, is brilliant. We really hope this can change some of the negative perceptions people have on our city.

Katie's photo on her ride to work this morning
The Avenues looked gorgeous this Autumn morning, even if it was reaalllyyy colld!

We had a busy morning processing orders and making some new Hull Loves designs! To celebrate the great news we all had a Pattie Butty and chips for our dinner, with Chip Spice of course! This resulted in the 'Pattie Butty' twitter account sending us tweets telling us they love us, which was quite comical!

If you haven't had time to celebrate this great news, get your hands on one of our Hull Loves t-shirts or baby grows at  www.bowesthreads.com
